Year 11 - ELECTRONIC BLAH BLAH BLAH....
HI,
If you found the lesson on Monday confusing, don't stress as it was pretty full on. It is meant to be an introduction to what sound is and what we are doing when we manipulate the sounds we can create and record.
Next lesson we will be going on with some sampling of sounds and using them as instruments for another short composition in garage band.
Get to know Garage band well, check out the eHOW vids as well as the apple vids on how to use it (you can watch these from home on your PC)
If you want to compose with a PC, download MIXCRAFT, it looks and feels a lot like garage band and might help you get used to the idea of using software to create music with.
Go here to download the PDF of the presentation for some revision.
Also check the links at the side of the blog for some more investigation of what is possible.

YEAR 7 LEARNING PREP
Your task is to post a reply with your answer to this question.
WHAT IS MUSIC?
Don't forget that a definition cannot have the word MUSIC in it to explain itself.
It also needs to be simple so Mr Billiards can remember it.
Good luck!
